RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of five (5) male German
Shepherd dogs to be used by the Police Department for patrol, tracking and narcotic detection;
and,
WHEREAS, Sentry Place, Inc. of Granbury, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $29,829.44; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Sentry
Place, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Sentry Place, Inc. of Granbury, Texas for the purchase of five (5)
male German Shepherd dogs to be used by the Police Department for patrol, tracking, and
narcotic detection in the amount of $29,829.44, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1991.
