WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 37,000 containers to be used
in the city wide curbside recycling program; and,
WHEREAS, Shamrock Industries, Inc. of Minneapolis, MN. submitted a bid in
the amount of $286,750.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Shamrock Industries, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Shamrock Industries, Inc. of Minneapolis, MN. for the purchase of
37,000 recycling containers to be used in the city wide curbside recycling program in the
amount of $286,750.00, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of ��� 1991.
