WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a one ton platform lift truck
to be used by the Public Works, Transportation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Wickersham Ford of Orange, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $57,513.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Wickersham Ford is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wickersham Ford of Orange, Texas for the purchase of one Ford
F-450 truck mounted with a Lift-a-Loft body in the amount of$57,513.00 for use by the Public
Works, Transportation Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1991.
