WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one 1992 cab and chassis
mounted with a twenty foot trash hauling body, to be used by the Public Works, Street and
Drainage Department; and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $39,926.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Knapp
Chervolet of Houston, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet of Houston, Texas for the purchase of one 1992 cab
and chassis mounted with a twenty foot trash hauling body in the amount of$39,926.00, to be
used by the Public Works, Street and Drainage Department, be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
