WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of one water main drilling
machine with accessories to be used by the Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, O & R Utilities of Missouri City, Texas submitted a bid in the
amount of $21,387.35; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by O & R
Utilities is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by O & R Utilities of Missouri City, Texas in the amount of
$21,387.35 for the purchase of one water main drilling machine with accessories to be used by
the Water Distribution Division, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
day of 1991.
