RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of seven (7) drilling machines with
attachments to be used for the water service trucks for drilling taps into pipes; and,
WHEREAS, Rohan Company of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of
$11,748.95; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Rohan Company
of Houston is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Rohan Company of Houston in the amount of $11,748.95 for
furnishing seven (7) Mueller drilling machines with attachments to be used by the water service
trucks for drilling taps into pipes, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this theme
day of 1991.
