RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Jefferson County Drainage District #6, has donated a 7.844 acre
tract of land out of the James Rowe Survey, Abstract 45; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said donation and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said donation of property is necessary and desirable
and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept the donation of Jefferson
County Drainage District #6 of the 7.844 acre tract of land described in Exhibit "A" for the
widening of Hillebrandt Bayou and to establish and acquire right-of-way for the existing
Ditch #107.
