WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) truck mounted with
a freight van body for Convention Facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $31,180.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Barrett
White GMC is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas for the purchase of one (1)
truck mounted with a freight van body for Convention Facilities in the amount of$31,180.00,
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this they
day of 1991.
