WHEREAS, the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission is conducting
a survey concerning a proposed election for Expanded Calling Scope for South East Texas;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont does not wish to participate in an election for
an Expanded Calling Scope for South East Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to notify the South East Texas
Regional Planning Commission that the City of Beaumont does not wish to participate in an
election for an Expanded Calling Scope for South East Texas.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
