RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of three covered hard surface
play areas at three City parks, Tyrrell Park, Alice Keith and Roberts Park; and,
WHEREAS, Watkins Construction Company of Beaumont submitted a bid in the
amount of $148,957.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Watkins
Construction Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Watkins Construction Company of Beaumont in the amount of
$148,957.00, for the construction of three covered hard surface play areas at Tyrrell Park,
Alice Keith and Roberts Park, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
