WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the lawsuit styled Bruce
Chenault vs. The City of Beaumont in an Executive Session properly called and held; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit styled Bruce
Chenault vs. The City of Beaumont in the amount of Six Thousand and 00/100 Dollars
($6,000.00).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
