RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of hot mix-cold laid asphaltic
concrete for use by the Street and Drainage Department; and,
WHEREAS, Apac-Texas, Inc. of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amounts as
follows:
F.O.B. vendor's
plantsite $ 23.50
Delivered Zone 1 $ 26.00
Delivered Zone 2 $ 26.00
Delivered Zone 3 $ 26.00
Delivered Zone 4 $ 26.00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Apac-
Texas, Inc. of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Apac-Texas, Inc. of Beaumont in the amounts stated above for hot
mix-cold laid asphaltic concrete for use by the Street and Drainage Department be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
