RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a public hearing to consider a property tax
increase for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 1991, and ending September 30, 1992; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing is required if the tax rate is to be increased above
$0.53995 per one hundred dollars valuation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide herein a notice of such public hearing
as provided by State law, at which time the proposed increase of five cents ($0.--Q5 )
per one hundred dollar ($100.00) valuation in the tax rate for the specific purposes outlined
herein would be subject to public comment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a public hearing be, and the same is hereby established for seven o'clock p.m. on the
3rd day of September, 1991, at which time the single subject of whether taxes should be
increased above the $0.53995 per one hundred dollar valuation level by five cents
($0.--Q-5—) per one hundred dollar valuation will be discussed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont by the following
