RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a flash-over container system
and training for twelve (12) City firefighters as instructors of the flash-over container system;
and,
WHEREAS, Swede Survival Systems, Inc. of Encinitas, California submitted a
bid in the amount of$20,950.00 with a two percent (2%)prompt payment discount net ten (10)
days; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Swede
Survival Systems, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Swede Survival Systems, Inc. of Encinitas, California for the
purchase of the flash-over container system with the educational training program, in the amount
of$20,950.00 with a two percent (2%)prompt payment discount net ten (10) days, be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
