WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) full size cargo van
for use by the Special Services Detail (SSD) unit of the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Wickersham Ford of Orange, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $14,772.00 for one (1) 1991 Ford E150 cargo van; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Wickersham Ford is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wickersham Ford of Orange, Texas in the amount of $14,772.00
for one (1) 1991 Ford E150 cargo van, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
