RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for a three (3) year contract to obtain the
services of a professional auctioneer for the disposal of City owned property; and,
WHEREAS, Lone Star Auctioneers, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of 5.98% of all sales revenue generated by the City's fleet and equipment
auction; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lone
Star Auctioneers, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lone Star Auctioneers, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas for furnishing
services of a professional auctioneer for the disposal of City owned property, in the amount of
5.98% of all sales revenue generated by the City's fleet and equipment auction, be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
