RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract to purchase corrugated
polyethylene pipe for use by the Streets and Drainage Department for their ditching operation;
and,
WHEREAS, Hancor, Inc. of Yoakum, Texas submitted a bid for Section I for
corrugated polyethylene pipe as follows;
15" corrugated pipe $ 3.10/ft.
18" corrugated pipe $ 4.95/ft.
24" corrugated pipe $ 8.67/ft.
15" split coupling $ 4.00/ft.
18" split coupling $ 5.70/ft.
24" split coupling $ 9.00 1ft.
15" tees $ 35.00/ea.
18" tees $ 75.00/ea.
24" tees $180.00/ea.
and;
91-fat 5;�

WHEREAS, Coburn Supply of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid for Section II,
smooth interior corrugated polyethylene pipe as follows;
15" smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 4.49/ft.
18" smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 6.44/ft.
24" smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 9.22/ft.
36" smooth interior corrugated pipe $ 21.49/ft.
15" split coupling $ 4.49/ea.
18" split coupling $ 6.44/ea.
24" split coupling $ 9.21/ea.
36" split coupling $ 21.49/ea.
15" tees $137.75 V-0-.
18" tees $152.00/ea.
24" tees $215.65/ea.
36" tees $543.40/ea.
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted above are the
best bids meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the bids submitted above by Hancor, Inc. of Yoakum, Texas for Section I, corrugated
polyethylene pipe and Coburn Supply of Beaumont, Texas for Section II, for smooth interior
corrugated polyethylene pipe for use by the Streets and Drainage Department be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
