RESOLUTION
WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract for solid waste disposal
collection; and,
WHEREAS, Waste Management-Golden Triangle of Beaumont, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of$2,212.80 per month. The approximate annual expenditure during this
contract period will be $26,553.60; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Waste
Management-Golden Triange of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Waste Management-Golden Triangle of Beaumont, Texas in the
amount of$2,212.80 per month be accepted by the City of Beaumont. The approximate annual
expenditure during this contract period will be $26,553.60.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the
day of 1991.
