RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one medium duty chassis mounted
with an eight (8) cubic yard dump bed to be used by the Park Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $34,498.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Barrett
White GMC of Tyler, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas in the amount of$34,498.00
for furnishing one medium duty chassis mounted with an eight (8) cubic yard dump bed for use
by the Park Maintenance Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
