RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one medium duty truck
mounted with a four (4) cubic yard dump body to be used by the Transportation Department
for hauling materials excavated from signal and traffic control construction projects; and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet of Houston, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $29,170.80; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Knapp
Chevrolet of Houston, Texas in the amount of$29,170.80 is the best bid meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet of Houston, Texas in the amount of $29,170.80
for the purchase of one medium duty truck mounted with a four (4) cubic yard dump body for
use by the Transportation Department for hauling materials excavated from signal and traffic
control construction projects be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
