RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) tandem.axle diesel
power cab and chassis mounted with a fourteen (14) cubic yard dump body for use by the
Water Utilities, Water Distribution Department for transporting excavated materials from
construction sites; and,
WHEREAS, Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $59,998.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Barrett
White GMC of Tyler, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas in the amount of$59,998.00
for the purchase of one (1) tandem axle, diesel power cab and chassis mounted with a fourteen
(14) cubic yard dump body for use by the Water Utilities, Water Distribution Department be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
