RES OLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for a six month contract to furnish engine oil,
transmission fluid and hydraulic oil to be used by the City's Fleet Management Center in City
vehicles and heavy equipment; and,
WHEREAS, Tri-Con, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amounts stated
below:
TRANSMISSION OIL

DEXTRON 11 TYPE F

Beaumont, TX $2.89/gal. $ .93/qt. $ .93/qt. 52.39/gal.
and;
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. of
Beaumont, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. of Beaumont in the amounts stated above for a six
month contract to furnish engine oil, transmission fluid and hydraulic oil for use by the City's
Fleet Management Center in City vehicles and heavy equipment be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
