RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing two cabs and chassis with a fifth
wheel and a forty-five cubic yard trailer package for the Sanitation Department's Brush
Collection Program; and,
WHEREAS, Wickersham Ford of Orange, Texas submitted a bid in the amount
of $141,738.00 for two Ford LN9000 cab and chassis with trailers manufactured by Wheeler
Truck and Equipment; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Wickersham
Ford of Orange, Texas is best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wickersham Ford of Orange, Texas in the amount of$141,738.00
for two Ford LN9000 cab and chassis with trailers manufactured by Wheeler Truck and
Equipment be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
