RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a bid was received for furnishing a cab and chassis and mounting
an existing ambulance body on it due to the increased maintenance costs of the cab and chassis
now in service in the Emergency Medical Services Division; and,
WHEREAS, Ambulance Sales and Service of Mansfield, Texas submitted a bid
in the amount of$37,749.00. This bid includes removing the ambulance body from the existing
cab, restoring and updating the body, mounting it on the new cab and chassis and delivery it
to Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ambulance
Sales and Service of Mansfield, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ambulance Sales and Service of Mansfield, Texas in the amount
of $37,749.00 for furnishing a cab and chassis and mounting an existing ambulance body on
it and delivery to the Emergency Medical Services Division be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
