RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the installation of sewer improvements to
serve the 1989 annexed area including the State prison that is currently under construction; and,
WHEREAS, Excavators & Constructors, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$575,685.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by
Excavators & Constructors, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Excavators & Constructors, Inc. in the amount of$575,685.00 for
installation of sewer improvements to serve the 1989 annexed area including the State prison
that is currently under construction be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
