RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to apply for $159,000.00 from the
Texas Emergency Shelter Grant Program.
Listed below are the agencies on whose behalf staff is requesting funding:
1. Women's and Children's Shelter of Southeast Texas
(Rehabilitation) $63,000
2. Humane Ministries of Southeast Texas, Inc.
(Rehabilitation and Food for the Homeless) $47,000
3. Young Women's Christian Association
(Renovation of facilities) $49,000
