R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the John Gray Institute has made a proposal and requested $35,000.00 to
study the feasibility of establishing an incubator for businesses involved in manufacturing; and,
WHEREAS, such proposal is an eligible activity under the Community Development
Block Grant regulations and funds are available for such projects; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve a contract for such projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT funding from the 1990 CDBG Program Year in the amount of $35,000.00 be, and the
same is hereby approved, as a grant to the John Gray Institute for completion of a study of the
feasibility of establishing an incubator for businesses involved in manufacturing. The City
Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute a contract with the John Gray Institute for
such a project.
