R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the Community Development Advisory Committee has recommended
approval of the allocation of funds for a contract with the Triplex Minority Development Center
to plan for the creation of a Community Development Corporation; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize such funding and authorize the
execution of a contract in the amount of$37,500.00 for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT funding from th& 1990 CDBG Program Year in the amount of $37,500.00 be, and the
same is hereby approved, for a contract with the Triplex Minority Development Center to plan
for the creation of a Community Development Corporation. The City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute a contract with the Triplex Minority Development Center for such
purposes.
