RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of full circle clamps that will
be utilized by the Water Utilities, Water Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe Company of Beaumont submitted a bid in the
amount of $31,364.50 with a two percent (2%) prompt payment discount; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Golden
Triangle Pipe Company of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe Company of Beaumont for the purchase of
full circle clamps that will be utilized by the Water Utilities, Water Distribution Division in the
amount of $31,364.50 with a two percent (2%) prompt payment discount be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
