WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of
limestone to be used by the Street and Drainage Department for repairs and maintenance of City
streets; and,
WHEREAS, Lott Materials of Beaumont, submitted a bid in the amounts as
follows:
ZONE 1 $13.50/TON
ZONE 2 $12.50/TON
ZONE 3 $13.50/TON
ZONE 4 $12.50/TON
PLANTSITE $10.50/TON
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lott
Materials of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Lott Materials of Beaumont for an annual contract for the purchase
of limestone to be used by the Street and Drainage Department for repairs and maintenance of
City streets in the amounts stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
