RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company, has requested the City of Beaumont grant
an easement for underground electrical service for maintenance of switching equipment serving
the City Hall and the Civic Center. The easement will be five (5') feet wide on either side of
the centerline, the centerline of the easement will enter the property at an existing equipment
easement on the east side of the Civic Center and continue in a southeasterly direction one
hundred and two (102.00') feet, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow such an easement at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an easement to Gulf States Utilities
Company for underground electrical service for maintenance of switching equipment serving
the City Hall and the Civic Center as shown on Exhibit "A" attached.

of 1991.
