WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract to furnish computer paper;
and,
WHEREAS, Century Paper of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amounts
of$10.25 per thousand sheets for 14-7/8" x 11" green bar paper and $6.97 per thousand sheets
for 9-1/2" x 11" for white continuous feed recycled paper. Prices include freight, inside
delivery and stacking; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Century
Paper of Beaumont, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Century Paper of Beaumont, Texas for an annual contract to furnish
computer paper in the amounts of$10.25 per thousand sheets for 14-7/8" x 11" green bar paper
and $6.97 per thousand sheets for 9-1/2" x 11" for white continuous feed recycled paper.
Prices include freight, inside delivery and stacking, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
