RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for unleaded gasoline,
both low and mid range octane and diesel fuel for a period of one year with an option to extend
the contract for an additional six months; and,
WHEREAS, Tri-Con, Inc. Oil Company of Beaumont, Texas, submitted the
following bid:
Amount Above O.P.I.S Posted Average/Gallon
Description Transport Load Tankwagon Load
Unleaded 87 octane + .0128 + .0328
Unleaded 89 octane + .0128 + .0328
Diesel + .0128 + .0328
and;
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Tri-
Con, Inc. Oil Company is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. Oil Company of Beaumont for an annual contract for
unleaded gasoline, both low and mid range octane and diesel fuel for a period of one year with
an option to extend the contract for an additional six months in the amounts stated above, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
