RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of right-of-
way easements for the Meentzen Drainage Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following parcel of land for the Meentzen Drainage Project be,
and the same is hereby, approved:
Parcel No. 8: 0.27 acre tract of land, being their
interest in one-half of the previously
dedicated Meentzen Street right-of-way
adjacent to Lot 139 of the Meentzen
Brothers Subdivision
Appraised Value: $2,770.00
Owners: Mrs. Betty Rae Copeland Phillips;
Mrs. Patricia Marlee Johnson Thames;
Mrs. Virginia Mae Rothwell Birdwell;
Individually and as Trustee;
M. W. McClendon and First Security
Bank of Beaumont, Trustees
