RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on July 3, 1990, City Council authorized the City Manager to
enter into a contract with Allied Equipment Service for the excavation and removal of three
underground fuel tanks from the fueling site at 2610 Concord; and,
WHEREAS, during the course of the project, leakage and contamination was
discovered in two fuel islands; and,
WHEREAS, completion of this additional excavation and disposal of
contaminated soil is in the amount of $7,074.42;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue final payment in the
amount of $7,074.42 to Allied Equipment Service for excavation and removal of this
contaminated soil.
