BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a deed without warranty
to Community Cemeteries, Inc. for the purchase of property being held by virtue of Sheriff's
Deed for delinquent taxes owned all taxing entities. The property is described as Lot 12, Block
118 in the Pinecrest Addition. The property was acquired by the City of Beaumont on May 3,
1977, for itself and as Trustee for Jefferson County and the Beaumont Independent School
District. We have received an offer to purchase the property for $1,200.00 which is more than
the amount of taxes due each entity including all costs of court.
