WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one trailer mounted tree
spade for the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Vermeer Sales of Texas, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$16,750.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Vermeer
Sales of Texas, Inc. is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the bid submitted by Vermeer Sales of Texas, Inc. for the purchase of one trailer mounted
tree spade for use by the Parks and Recreation Department in the amount of $16,750.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
