RESOLUTION
WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase of brass fittings and polyvinyl
chloride (PVC) sewer pipe to be used by the Water Utilities Department/Water Distribution
Division for water and sewer installation and repairs throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, A & P Water and Sewer Supply of Missouri City, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of $11,481.08; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by A & P
Water of Missouri City, Texas is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by A & P Water of Missouri City, Texas for the purchase of brass
fittings and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer pipe to be used by the Water Utilities
Department/Water Distribution Division for water and sewer installation and repairs throughout
the City be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
