WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing and installing carpet and vinyl tile
in various City facilities; and,
WHEREAS, Porter's Carpets, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $16,100.00.00; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Porter's
Carpet, Inc. of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Porter's Carpet, Inc. of Beaumont in the amount of$16,100.00 for
furnishing and installing carpet and vinyl tile in various City facilities be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
