HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 91-011 r RESOLUTION WHEREAS, on July 24, 1990, City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract with Cutler Repaving, Inc., in the amount of $1,226,186.85 for the recycling and repaving of 20 sections of asphalt streets in the first phase of the 1990 Street Maintenance and Rehabilitation Program; and, WHEREAS, during the course of the project, there were two change orders. Change Order No. 1 was an increase in the amount of $239,026.00 for additional street drainage and stability; Change Order No. 2 was a deduction in the amount of $86,758.05; and, WHEREAS, the project was inspected by the Engineering Division and found to be completed in conformance with the contract requirements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept the project as complete and issue final payment in the amount of $92,464.84 to Cutler Repaving, Inc.
