WHEREAS bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of office
supplies for all City offices; and,
WHEREAS, Lamb's Office Products of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount
Of$11,712.45 with a 40% and 25% discount on catalogued items for a period of one year with
the option to renew for an additional year. Prices quoted were tabulated using the approximate
annual usage of common high volume office supplies; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lamb's
Office Products of Beaumont is the best bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the unit price bid submitted by Lamb's Office Products with a 40% and 25% discount
on catalogued items for a period of one year with the option to renew for an additional year for
the purchase of office supplies for all City offices be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
