WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of the claim for damages
of J. G. Coward and The Ohio Casualty Group in an Executive Session properly called and
held; and,
WHEREAS, the Council authorized the settlement of the claim for damages;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim for damages of J.
G. Coward and The Ohio Casualty Group in the amount of Five Thousand Eight Hundred
Thirty-seven and 17/100 Dollars ($5,837.17).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the full and final settlement of the claim for
damages is hereby ratified.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the A4 day
