WHEREAS, the Community Development Advisory Committee has reviewed a
request for Community Development Block Grant funds to assist the Triplex Minority Business
Development Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Community Development Advisory Committee recommends to
City Council that Triplex Minority Business Development be awarded a grant of $15,000.00
for travel, equipment, supplies, and other direct costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to accept the recommendation of the
Community Development Advisory Committee and award a grant of$15,000.00 to the Triplex
Minority Business Development Council.
