R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS bids were received for furnishing and installing
one air conditioning unit at City Hall and two air conditioning
units at the Police Station; and,
WHEREAS, Natkin Service Company of Beaumont, submitted
a bid in the amount of $39,130. 00 for furnishing and installing one
air conditioning unit at City Hall, and Project Mechanical Service
of Beaumont submitted a bid in the amount of $64, 674. 00 with a 2%
in 10 days prompt payment discount for furnishing and installing
two air conditioning units at the Police Station; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Natkin Service Company and Project Mechanical Service
of Beaumont, Texas the best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Natkin Service Company of Beaumont, in
the amount of $39,130. 00 for furnishing and installing one air
conditioning unit at City Hall and the bid submitted by Project
Mechanical Service of Beaumont in the amount of $64, 674.00 with a
2% in 10 days prompt payment discount for furnishing and installing
two air conditioning units at the Police Station be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
