BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to apply for
$40, 000. 00 in funds provided through the Texas Department of Health
under the Health Omnibus Program Extension Act (HOPE) of 1988 to
develop an essential educational component to provide HIV
counseling and testing at the Beaumont City Health Department.
