RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1990, City Council awarded a contract to Bo-Mac
Contractors, Inc., for the 1990 Street Overlay Project in the amount of $2,101,562.56; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being requested to provide for 4 inches of
asphalt stabilized base for improvements to Walden Road from Fannett Road to the east
property line of Petro Truck Stop and from the west property line of Enterprise Trucking to
Major Drive at a cost of$5.86/s.y. for a total of$125,404.00 in lieu of the 6 inches of limestone
base in the original plans;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 in
the amount of $125,404.00 to the contract between the City of Beaumont and Bo-Mac
Contractors, Inc. for the 1990 Street Overlay Project.
