R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 24, 1990, the City Council of the City
of Beaumont, Texas, accepted the low bid of Cutler Repaving, Inc.
in the amount of $1,226, 186.85 for one phase of the 1990 Street
Maintenance and Rehabilitation Program for the recycling and
repaving of 20 sections of asphalt streets; and
WHEREAS, during the course of the project, it was
determined that additional street drainage and street stability was
going to be required and a change order for $239, 026. 00 needed,
thus increasing the contract amount to $1,465,212 .85;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute
a change order for $239, 026. 00, thus increasing the contract amount
to $1, 465,212 .85 to Cutler Repaving, Inc. for one phase of the 1990
Street Maintenance and Rehabilitation Program.
