R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS bids were received for the annual contract to mow
privately owned developed (property with above ground structures)
and vacant property for the City's Environmental Health Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Perricone Specialties Lawn Care of Beaumont
submitted a bid for developed properties in the amounts of $0. 00319
per square foot for mowing and $0. 0015 per square foot for removing
grass clippings and Ace Clark Construction Company of Beaumont
submitted a bid for vacant properties in the amounts of $0. 0020 per
square foot for mowing and $0. 0025 per square foot for removing
grass clippings; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Perricone Specialties Lawn Care of Beaumont and Ace
Clark Construction Company of Beaumont are the best bids meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Perricone Specialties Lawn Care of
Beaumont for developed properties in the amounts of $0. 00319 per
square foot for mowing and $0. 0015 per square foot for removing
grass clippings and Ace Clark Construction Company of Beaumont for
vacant properties in the amounts of $0. 0020 per square foot for
mowing and $0. 0025 per square foot for removing grass clippings be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
