WHEREAS, Carlos and Eneida Arroyo, owners, has
requested the City of Beaumont to allow them to encroach onto the
west 85 feet of Lot 15, Block 12 of Delaware Place, Section Two,
and the east 60 feet of a 20 foot utility easement at the rear of
4770 Littlefield where a portion of the concrete pavement,
planter boxes and a covered wooden deck encroach as depicted on
Exhibit "A" , attached; and,
WHEREAS City staff has expended considerable time and
effort in investigating the effect of such encroachment upon the
City and utilities serving the same; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow
such encroachment at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a License
to Encroach for Carlos and Eneida Arroyo, owners, into the west
85 feet of Lot 15, Block 12 of Delaware Place, Section Two, and
the east 60 feet of a 20 foot utility easement at the rear of
4770 Littlefield where a portion of the concrete pavement,
planter boxes and a covered wooden deck encroach as shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for a one-time fee of Five Hundred
Dollars ($500. 00) .
