WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two
tractors by the Parks and Recreation Department for maintenance in
the area parks; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm and Home of Beaumont submitted a bid
in the amount of $29, 196. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Eastex Farm and Home is the lowest and best bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm and Home of Beaumont, Texas,
in the amount of $29, 196. 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for
the purchase of two tractors to be used by the Parks and Recreation
Department for maintenance of area -parks.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
